I'm a human navigating a world not designed for me. It's tough but so am I.
I'm a sports fanatic. I coach football. I am a college student. I am a total foodie.
I am an advocate. I am all about equity. I hold people to account. I speak up.
I have dreams of living a big and full life, dreams of travelling, dreams of achieving my ambitions. Big, big dreams...
But life is for living, not dreaming. Dream big, live bigger!

True understanding of equity is the only way to get things right for everyone. There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. We need a flexible, common sense approach to meeting our needs.

We have many strengths and high aspirations that should not be overshadowed by our needs. Never assume ‘we can’t; never assume ‘we can’. Ask the question.
Change might not always be the answer. Look at what's not working and see how it can be fixed.

We didn’t choose our disabilities; we didn’t ask for it to be hard; we shouldn’t be made to feel like ‘a problem to be fixed’ or that we are ‘costing society too much money’.
Families need support from the very beginning. Transitions should not feel like a cliff edge. Preparation for Adulthood is vital and needs to be at the heart of everything, not a tokenistic add-on. Departments need to work together to jointly commission services.
